Most Pleasantly Situated

The Cape Peninsula is full of quaint towns and picturesque beaches.  The towns definitely all embrace their nautical settings.  When were in towns like Hout Bay and Simon’s Town (home of the South African Navy), I kept thinking that these are places that my Mom would love to visit because of their beautiful harbors and perfect sailing breezes.  We also drove Chapman’s Peak Road along the coast, which lives up to its reputation of being one of the most beautiful drives in the world.
