Where you been

Once again, I have been negligent of the blog, so I thought I would try to do a quick catch-up of some of these events.

Well, in case you don’t know me at all – let me just give it away – North Carolina v. Miami – Dean E. Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC

It was pretty much the greatest sporting event I have attended in quite some time. It was topped off by the comeback of this guy –

That’s Wayne Ellington whose shot finally returned in this game with seven threes. Pretty great.
We followed it up with a relaxing day at Grammy’s –

What else – This little guy has been keeping me busy –

Yes, that is my little Knightley, aka Mr. Knightley, aka Lord Knightley James Street (the AKC version of his name.

He has been a wonderful little addition to our home, although still a puppy and still prone to a certain kind of out of control behavior. Exhibit A:

Finally, last weekend I went up to Boston for the J. Reuben Clark Law Society Conference. At least I did in theory. In reality, I went to go see my dear friend Katie and her wonderful husband Chris and share in some of Katie’s pregnancy bliss. It is always great to see a good friend with whom you can pick up as if it hasn’t been any length of time since you have last seen them.

I also was able to listen to this wonderful woman, Professor Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, at the Old South Meeting House. It was pretty great.

Even if it meant that I also had to listen to this guy:
